Nowadays 3-D printers are still quite large and expensive; however, as they become more commonplace the prices will drop, and soon they will become a must-have item at school. And as the years pass it will become more commonplace and affordable and eventually make its way into public schools.
Not only will the students be able to write whatever they wish on the touchscreen but they will also be able to effortlessly pull up pictures, charts, graphs, presentations, etc. And the ability to detect multiple touches at the same time will encourage collaboration.
These are some of the major changes that will occur in the classroom in the near (and not so near) future. However, this is not an exhaustive list; the world of technology is progressing at an extremely rapid pace and we simply don’t know what type of revolutionary gadgets might be invented in the following months or years.
